Beauty and the Beast is a classic animated film. It was directed by Pierre-Yves Rochon and written by John Goldsmith. The film was released in 1991 and was met with critical acclaim, becoming one of the most popular films of all time. The film is based on the story of Beauty and the Beast, a young girl named Belle, and the Beast, a terrifying monster.
The story begins in the kingdom of France. In the midst of a civil war, a young girl named Belle is summoned to the castle of the Beast. There, she meets the Beast, who wants to marry her, and she is forced to leave with him. However, on their way to his castle, Belle is attacked by the soldiers of the King. The Beast saves her and takes her to his castle, where he intends to make her his wife. However, he is forced to change his plans when Belle is turned into a girl and he into a beast. He is then taken to the town to live with the villagers, who treat him kindly because of his change. However, he grows angry and violent when he is not treated well, and begins attacking the villagers. He eventually gains the upper hand and begins ruling over the kingdom.
